Lone Yankee voter, so far. They have done extremely well to be in the middle of the race, given what has happened. I think that they'll spend a few bucks at the deadline.
I went Red Sox. With a division in as much flux as the East, I figure go with the team that's actually in first. And with it now looking like Tex and AROD are out for the year, the Yankees could be in a tough position.
I change my mind often so charges of inconsistency are completely valid -- but at the moment I am on O's believer after being a skeptic for a year or so (and before that a believer.) But right now it sure seems like the Jays are truly the best team and really should win this division. None of the other teams looks like they can dominate the way the Jays can if they are firing on all cylinders. Since the _real_ Jays team showed up around June 4th during the San Francisco series it's hard to see any of these other teams deserving the title.
I went Baltimore as well. Good offense, good bullpen, they'll get Chen back soon enough and they do have the wherewithal to add a second baseman or a pitcher. They also seem to have a certain intangible ... energy?... these days that the Yankees and Rays don't.
