I voted Bonifacio. If a little reverse-jinx mojo can't help him, he is unsalvageable.
Everybody around here really seems to hate Bonifacio, and I totally get it, but DFAing him isn't the answer. Recognizing he's a bench player is.
I voted Bonifacio. A perfectly fine 25th man on the roster, in the old tradition, with the bonus that he is very fast.
Don't know if I'd say Bonifacio is a 'fine' 25th man. Speed? Check. Able to play multiple positions? Check. Play them well...er... Hit at least a little... er...
Of course, during the WS years the Jays did carry Alfredo Griffin on the roster despite horrid offensive stats (53 OPS+ and a 28 OPS+, 3 SB vs 1 CS) but Griffin still could play well at SS and 2B (Total Zone rating of 0 those years at those positions and 3B, no UZR ratings back then). So the question is does Bonifacio's raw speed and (sort of) ability to play outfield outweight his poor defense and offense vs Kawasaki's patience (leading to good OBP) and league average defense. The Jays seem to feel that is the case.

That's such an easy punch line I can't believe I missed it. This is my fault.
