Thanks to Jobu for the following new poll question: Which player is LEAST likely to be a Blue Jay after the July 31 trade deadline?

Ted Lilly ... Texas Ranger. For Adrian Hernandez, or if the Jays will settle, for Jason Botts.
Cat.
A good hitter but with limited power, he has been outplayed by Reed. Look for the Reed/ Cat platoon to become Reed/ Gross.
Lilly is not going anywhere.

I hope to god JP doesn't deal Lilly considering hes (A) Lefty (B) cheap in the grand scheme of things. I would however have no hesistation at dealing Vernon to Texas since they are so enamored with him. They could easily overpay for him given their obvious infatuation with him. And on top of it, Vernon doesn't project the feeling that he wants to be a blue jay long-term. He was very non-committing in an interview with Jim Rome a few weeks back about his contract and seems un-focused.
I chose Eric Hinske, simply because his days are numbered. The question didn't ask who is most likely to be traded, which helped things -- a DFA wouldn't surprise me at all with Hinske, unfortunately.
Most likely to be traded, I'd say Cat if Gross shows he can handle LF. The O-Dog should fetch something better than him, of course, but I doubt Hudson is going anywhere. Lots of love for Speier so far...I could see that happening.
And the 0.00% through 29 votes is fitting; if Reed Johnson is traded, I will eat an object chosen by Bauxites, subject to poll approval.

Nobody on this list is going anywhere. Johnny Mack might draw some interest while his BA is still decent.
I also think that its unlikely that anyone on that list is going anywhere. However, it wouldn't surprise me if one of them were traded.
In my opinion, unless JP gets an offer he simply cannot refuse, the only trade we'll see would be very minor (Frank Menichino and/or John MacDonald for minor leaguers/AAAA Catcher)

I also voted for cat, because Gross is ready and willing.
I'm kinda shocked that Johnson is the ONLY one to have received 0 votes (as I write this, anyway) ... I think he's attaining exalted Rusty Greer-like "fan favorite we wouldn't dare trade even if he is a marketable commodity" status.
I voted Cat because I think he no longer has an important role on the team and he has some value for someone looking for a veteran bat.
Maybe the next pole should be who do you want to see traded by the deadline.

Schoeneweis, because some contender will want a fairly reliable lefty-killer. It would be a pretty straight salary dump, though -- don't expect to see even a John Hattig coming back.
Mick, Reed Johnson has much more value to the Jays than he would elsewhere. His intangibles don't translate to contending teams, who prefer "playoff-tested veterans" for their stretch runs.
I'd have added Batista to the list. I think the Jays are happy with him in his current role and they like the stability he gives the pen. But if JP got a good offer for him, he'd be gone in an instant.
