I voted Cecil. I have no good reason for this other than the fact that "Brett Cecil" is a name that sounds like a guy you ant to hand the ball on Opening Day. "Sure, Santana's good, but we're going with Brett Cecil as our pre-season Cy Young pick" ... just rolls off the tongue. Er, keyboard.
Of course "Travis Snider" sounds like the name of a guy you want hitting third on your club, too.
ANA, that's actually a legitimate question/point. We know of a fair number of prospect and player family members who are registered on the site, and there's no telling how many nonregistered such visitors we get.
Although, to be perfectly clear, we don't exactly have a "click here if you're related to a player" field, and our knowledge of such members comes solely from their e-mailing us about it.
The Internet truly has changed the way a ballplayer can communicate with his family from Lansing to Luxembourg.
