Potential Anthony Gose callup:
Overdue | 1 (0.96%) |
It's the best option if Bautista's on the DL | 16 (15.38%) |
Whatever | 10 (9.62%) |
Not what I'd do, but I would be fine with it | 51 (49.04%) |
Totally the wrong answer | 26 (25.00%) |

None of the answers quite capture my view. Assuming Bautista's going on the DL, both Snider and Gose ought to be called up. Gose platoons with Davis, and Snider plays right field.
Moises Sierra. He seems reasonably solid & is on the 40 man roster.
My eyes aren't the best, but when I watch MLB games, I can tell whether a hitter has had a quality AB. When I watch Vegas home games on MiLB.TV, I can rarely say whether the hitter had a good or bad plate appearance.
Just like anyone else here, I can do statline scouting however. Does anyone here feel they can make legitimate judgments on players strictly by looking at their stats and not watching them actually play?

Totally the wrong answer. Don't like bringing up a kid to sit on the bench.
I assume he is going to start and play everyday while he is here, if not I will be ever more disturbed. I would have been happy with either of Snider, Thames or Sierra being called up. With Gose he has yet to have a full year at AAA, I don't see the need to rush him. If Rasmus had gone down I'd be fine with it, but to call him up to play RF does not make sense. Call up Thames hope he plays well and you can trade him at the deadline as I think we all know he is not in the longterm plans. Call up Snider he hits well you can sit Raja out when Bautista comes back.

Where? CF? And move Rasmus to somewhere he's never played before? Or move Gose to RF? A position he doesn't play? I'd much rather have seen Yan Gomes and Moises Sierra recalled and send down a pitcher (Beck or Dyson) and give Farrell some flexibility. Right now, he can either start a sub-optimal lineup or have one late game move: pinch-run Gose. That's it.

Im assuming he will start in RF against everybody but tough lefties such as Sabathia.
Smcs, he's going to play everyday vs. rightys, in RF.
