Wow, that's a tough one. Collins had the best career, but his banner years were in Philly. Frank Thomas was an all-time great hitter in the 90s, and probably had the highest peak of any Pale Hoser. I went with Luke Appling who arguably had the best career in Chicago, but who really knows?
Exactly my thinking, Mike, and I see you and I are (so far) the only two to vote for Ol' Aches and Pains. I guess 2,749 hits just don't go as far as they used to!
