For a team with it's fair share of success, Seaver stands out from the pack here. Looking at the numbers, it looks like a reasonable argument could be made for Piazza as the best hitter (although I'd lean towards Strawberry) in team history, which strike me as odd, since he was a far better hitter in LA (perhaps good enough to qualify for the Dodgers list, perhaps not). If Wright and/or Reyes keep it going and stay with the Mets, either could look like a better candidate in five years.
