Keep in mind the wording of the question -- who WILL, not who do you HOPE WILL ... big difference!
I also went with other in order to vote Nomar. I think he'd be a good fit here if we dont count on him to be our everyday SS, which of course he would not be. Sources say he's happy to be the roving Mollie type of player for the team and if his bat holds up it could be a nice fit.
Or maybe I've just been waiting for the chance to put "NOMAR" on the back of a jays jersey for several years. Who knows.

I'm gonna say vernon for this one, hitting behind nomar and in front of kearns
I said the same thing. Overbay or Willy Mo would hit third. The only players that I could somehow see hitting fourth of all the free agents and players linked to the Jays, it would be Thomas, Wilkerson, or Durazo. And I don't expect any of those guys to be Jays.
Another vote for Vernon Wells, but it's really a dartboard selection.
Wells, definitely the safest guess at this point.
Vernon. Or at least that's where he should be hitting, assuming we can get someone with a better OBP to hit third. To be honest, I'd be even happier sliding VW to the #5 slot if we could sandwich a true slugger in the cleanup spot... But now I'm just getting greedy.
(Is anyone else finding that this offseason's been doing that a lot to them lately?)

This is most definitely the most exciting Jays offseason in years. I check this site about every ten minutes to see if the Jays have made any trades or aquired any new FAs.
The Jays shouldn't fool around with aging, frequently injured players (Thomas, Nomar)...instead they should go out and get Dunn or Overbay.
Or, if you end up with money to burn, and you couldnt get either Dunn or Overbay, you could always throw a ton of cash at Manny and hope he bites.
With a solid cleanup hitter, and this solitified pitching staff, the Jays should be a real contender and make a decent playoff run.

I keep thinking about Dunn...what would it take to get him? It seems to me like the answer would be pitching, but we are dealing Bush and Jackson for Lyle Overbay
It is all very intriguing. Have to wait it out I guess...

Craig Grebeck, I think it's about time he came home.
Im guessing if Overbay comes to Toronto, Gibbons will want a lefty after Vernon.
