I don't think Boone deserves to be in the HoF.

I would say absolutely not. His career OPS+ is only 101, making him an average offensive player. Although he played an important defensive position, and provided above average production throughout his career, he is simply not good enough to make it. While I don't want to make any accusations, his power spike is awfully suspicious, especially if you look at how quickly his production fell off near the end of his career.
The only way Boone makes it to the HoF is if they change the criteria to best frosted tips.
