Granted, Carlos Beltran was the next guy on the list who almost made it into the options, but what's with the lack of quality fantasy candidates whose family names come in the front end of the alphabet?
Do people actually pick closers in the first round?
And what about these early-alphabet guys: Hafner, Miguel Cabrera, Berkman, Holliday, Atkins, Jeter, Bay, Crawford, Carpenter ...
Is 4x4 BA/HR/RBI/SB? I'm assuming so, and Marcel says Soriano or Santana (I voted for Soriano before checking anyway). Of course, Pujols is only predicted to have 9 steals, so that's probably why he shows up 8th on the list of hitters generated by those categories.

Soriano delivers across the board and is the hands down pick in 4x4 roto from this list.
Remember roto isn't real ball, so you have to forget what you really know and sometimes put your prejudices aside or look at finishing in the middle of the pack.
Grady Sizemore. He produces in every category.
gooEasily Pujols. He might not end up the best overall player, but he is consistantly one of the top few in the league. Soriano is not likely to repeat last years numbers and has the potential to hurt you in AVG . Over the past four years Pujols WORST numbers at each stat were a .330 AVG, 41 HR, 117 RBI, and 5 SB. The only other arguments I can see would be Santana who is by far the best pitcher, and maybe Soriano. I would have Chase Utley higher than any of the closers as he is so far away the best 2Bman in baseball. Carl Crawford would be a high pick as well as he could go 25-50 with a better AVG than Sorianio. If you took one of the closers, you'd lose easily. Even in fantasy baseball they are replacable. Todd Jones had only one fewer save than Ryan last year and would go about 50-60 picks later. JJ Putz had a very similar year and probably went even later. You have absolutely zero chance of getting Pujols/Soriano/Crawford type of production from the 60th pick.
