The Jays affiliates had a tough night, all of them lost, other than Bluefield who had to go to extra innings to win and Dunedin who were rained out. In addition to the game reports, I looked at the progress of the high school hitters the Jays have drafted in the last ten years.

Jon Harris was promoted to AAA and took on the Paw Sox including Adam Lind, Rusney Castillo and Mike Olt. He pitched well and, backed by a Rowdy Tellez home run, got the win on his debut. Dunedin came from behind to win. Lansing won again with Maximo Castillo getting the measure of the Midwest League. Vancouver also won with Griffin Conine hitting his first professional home run. Bluefield won with a hitter who is hitting over .500. The DSL Jays also won. New Hampshire were rained out, the GCL Jays had the day off.
Chris Rowley's excellent start helped Buffalo to win. Thomas Pannone came back from suspension for a shortened start and a home run from Connor Panas helped New Hampshire to win. Angel Perdomo went five and Dunedin won in extras. Lansing had Donnie Sellers punch out eight and a couple of home runs meant another win. The run of good starts ended in Vancouver where Randy Pondler struggled and the C's lost again. The GCL Jays and DSL Jays broke the pattern, the GCL team lost while the DSL team won. Bluefield were off.
The #BlueJays affiliates won seven of nine Tuesday night. A doubleheader split and a loss in the Dominican were the only setbacks.
With this year not going well it is hard not to look to 2019. Baring trades, who is lined up for each position? Just offense here. We can guess at most of their defense.
The only two wins could be found on the lowest level on the farm for the #BlueJays affiliates. Dunedin had the night off while Bluefield's home game against Princeton was rained out.

The lower half of the system came through for the Jays on Thursday. Bluefield knocked out 21 hits but had to hang on for a one run win. The GCL Jays had 14 hits and scored nine runs. The DSL Jays scored eight runs on 12 hits. Lansing won in extras but Buffalo, Dunedin and Vancouver lost. New Hampshire had a day off.
The #BlueJays are in Anaheim to do battle against the Halos.
New Hampshire and Dunedin won in extra innings. The GCL Jays won in regulation. Buffalo were blown out. Vancouver and Bluefield lost tight one's. Lansing had the day off. Generally it was a quiet night on the farm with few standout performances. Several 17 year olds are delivering good performances in the Jays system. One of the most notable, Eric Pardinho, started for Bluefield last night and was popping 97's on the radar gun. 17 year old Leonardo Jimenez had two hits for the GCL Jays. And 17 year old, who you never heard of, Erickvi Celedonio had three hits for the DSL Jays.
