Richard Urena, Harold Ramirez and Reese McGuire joined New Hampshire on Wednesday and it was as glorious as you would want it to be. Dunedin had no problem replacing Urena, Gunnar Heidt took over with three hits. The GCL Jays were pounding it out too, thanks to some rehabbing minor leaguers and the hot Ryan Gold. Buffalo and Lansing were soundly beaten and, to make it worse, Lansing lost Max Pentecost to injury.
Vancouver and Bluefield had the day off

The affiliates came out on top five times out of seven on Tuesday and three Vancouver Canadians contributed to the Northwest League's victory over the Pioneer League in Utah.
The affiliates won four out of six on Monday that saw three one-run victories, including an extra-innings affair. The only blemish was a doubleheader sweep against the boys in the Dominican. Buffalo, New Hampshire and Vancouver all had the night off.
Conner Greene had the best of times through five innings, he was no-hitting Richmond. The sixth was the worst of times, Greene was pulled in the middle of the inning with four runs in, and he took the loss. Buffalo and Dunedin had come from behind wins. Lansing were opposites, they lost it in the ninth. Vancouver had a nice win, Bluefield lost in a rain shortened affair.
On to your three day weekend, abbreviated highlights.

Wins were hard to come by on the farm yesterday, but Richard Urena had a nice night and T.J. Zeuch looked a first rounder down in Low-A. Your affiliates were 2-5 with a rain suspension.

There was a lot of late inning action on Wednesday. New Hampshire came back to tie their game but their bullpen, and defense, blew it in the eighth. Dunedin had a six run lead thanks mainly to Anthony Alford. But Adonys Cardona gave up four runs in the eighth. The Jays were able to rally to win. Vancouver looked to be in line for their first win in a week but they lost to a walk off in the ninth. The GCL Jays came from behind to beat the Tigers bullpen.
Buffalo and Lansing lost from early in the game. Bluefield won thanks to the bottom of their order.

The affiliates won four and lost five Tuesday. One team was swept in a doubleheader while another emerged with a split. Three victories were of the one-run variety. Lansing had the night off.
A blowout loss, an extra-innings loss, a walk-off loss and a shutout loss. Only the boys from the Gulf Coast prevented Monday from being a total disaster. Buffalo's game in Moosic, Pennsylvania was rained out so they will play two today. New Hampshire's game down in Harrisburg, PA could not be played due to wet grounds so that means a double dip there as well. Dunedin had the day off.
The affiliates were 2-4 on Sunday and were 6-14 over the three days of the weekend, not very good. Jose Bautista brought very little to Buffalo, except some spectators. They, Dunedin and Vancouver were 0-3 on the weekend. Bluefield were 3-0 and Bradley Jones led them on Sunday. Lance Jones helped out too. The other winners were Lansing. Even though Vancouver lost all three games, JB Woodman had seven hits
Ugly night on the farm. Just two wins and few notable prospect performances.

That is an unusual headline for a minor league update. Jose Bautista homered in his first rehab game in Dunedin but the Jays lost thanks to some poor pitching. Anthony Alford also homered in that game. The other rehabbers, in Buffalo, could not help the Bisons win. Chris Colabello looks like he will be staying in Buffalo with five strikeouts. Dalton Pompey had three hits. Conner Greene got the win for New Hampshire. Angel Perdomo had one bad inning and it cost Lansing. Vancouver lost while Bluefield and the GCL Jays both won.
The affiliates enjoyed a 5-2 night on the farm Tuesday with all non-Blue Jay nicknamed teams finding the win column, save for Lansing as they had the night off. Against non-Pirate teams, the affiliates were 5-0.
The affiliates lost five of nine on Monday. All of the teams with non-Jay nicknames lost.
Buffalo racked up twenty hits as Casey Lawrence pitched well again. Rowdy Tellez had the game winning RBI as New Hampshire came from behind. Dunedin's game was suspended. Justin Maese pitched reasonably well but the bullpen blew his win. Vancouver and Bluefield lost close games, Bluefield in twenty innings.
Lots of action on the farm tonight. We had a no-hitter and an impressive display from a stud prospect. However, the farm registered just two wins.
