Lansing was the only victor last night on the farm though did they ever mash. 21 hits and 15 runs. Shane Dawson had a nice start at AA New Hampshire and Max Pentecost had a solid night behind the plate and with the bat.

The hot hitters just keep on hitting. Bo Bichette hits another bomb, his sixth. Bradley Jones hit his ninth. Mike Ohlman hit another home run and had three hits in all. Jason Leblebijian had two more hits. Dwight Smith and Vlad Guerrero recorded one each. Conner Greene had an excellent start without recording a fly ball out. One unusual suspect was Richard Urena who had five hits over two games.
Two losses and a victory on the farm Tuesday. New Hampshire's game in Reading was rained out.
The three affiliates could not beat anyone on Monday. Dunedin had the night off.
Bo Bichette had a walk off single on Sunday. The Fisher Cats had two walks off wins over the weekend. There were many very good pitching performances over the last three days, too many to mention here. Read on for more details.

The affiliates were a perfect 4-0. Solid pitching, with the exception of a rehabbing J.A. Happ, was the order of the evening.

Justin Maese has the reputation of a sinker, slider pitcher who gets contact without many strikeouts. He reversed that on Wednesday with 12 strikeouts in seven innings. Bo Bichette, Andrew Guillotte, Roemon Fields and Raffy Lopez kept on hitting. Conner Greene had to battle through his start.

A winning night on the farm saw a doubleheader sweep account for half of the win total. A one-run loss prevented a perfect night.
The affiliates split their two games on Monday. One of them featured the rehabbing left side of the Toronto infield. New Hampshire was rained out. Buffalo had no baseball game on the docket.
Its your long weekend abbreviated minor league update. Over the weekend Vlad Guerrero Jr. picked up seven hits. Danny Jansen also had a good weekend. Richard Urena's bat is starting to look alive again, while Max Pentecost is finding that it is tough to learn how to be a regular catcher and keep hitting.
Lansing won their 1,500 game last night and your affiliates were 3-1.

I know you can't scout the stat line, and I know that Vlad Guerrero Jr. is the better rated prospect, but Bo Bichette is putting together a great season. On Wednesday Lansing scored four runs, Bichette drove in three of them and scored the fourth. He reached base all four times he came to bat. There are some concerns regarding his swing but you have to admire the way he is playing. Between Vlad Jr., Anthony Alford, Bo Bichette and some of the pitchers, you could have quite the discussions at the end of this year as to who is the number one and number two prospect in the system.
There was lots of hitting on the farm Wednesday. The Jays four teams racked up 45 hits. Unfortunately their opponents also had 45. The Jays came out on the short end at 1-3.
A losing Tuesday night on the farm with only Buffalo emerging victorious in the four games played.
The affiliates won two out of three Monday with the victors scoring the winning runs in their final at-bats. New Hampshire had no baseball game on their schedule.
The affiliates lost all three games on Sunday, and the bloom is off the winning rose. Some of the Jays pitchers were very hittable over the weekend. Matt Latos, Shane Dawson and Jon Harris in particular had to deal with lots of base runners. Some of the winning has come out of the system. Buffalo started hot but a lot of bad weather and double headers have slowed the winning. New Hampshire have a 12-24 record. Lansing lost both their weekend. Only Dunedin won.
