Dilson Herrera hit two home runs. Tyler White hit a grand slam but Buffalo lost. New Hampshire won but Vancouver and Dunedin had few hits and lost. The FCL Jays lost, but a Quebecer had three hits.

Not that it's likely to mean much of anything but the Red Sox have lost six of their last seven.
The Jays have won just 6 of 15 meetings with this tiresome Boston outfit, despite outscoring them 87-67. Boston has won by such scores as 8-7, 6-5, 2-1, 5-4. The Jays have won by such scores as 8-0, 18-4, 13-1. Well, if you have to beat them senseless... might as well beat them senseless. That's what I always say.
The affiliates nearly had a perfect night, winning three out of four Thursday.
The Jays affiliates won two and lost three on Wednesday.
New Hampshire and Vancouver won but Buffalo did the opposite. Dunedin's game in Fort Myers was rained out.
The Cleveland Baseball Team is coming to town to play four against those fun loving Blue Jays.
Two winners and two second-place finishers on the scoreboard by the Jays affiliates Sunday.
It was a tough night on the farm. The FCL Jays were the only winners. The Bisons had to face Chris Sale, no issue for Nash Knight. Luis Quinones pitched well for New Hampshire in a losing cause. Neither the Fisher Cats or the Canadians could find much offense. Dunedin had the offense but not the pitching. The FCL Jays can always be relied on for offense.

Even without Austin Martin, the Fisher Cats won again. Vancouver had another wild game with Spokane and, once again, came out on the losing end. Dunedin won without much help from their big bats. Buffalo and the FCL Jays lost.

Who wrote that tired sea song
Set on this peaceful shore
You think you've heard this one before
It's major league baseball. In Toronto.
Sem Robberse pitched seven strong innings and Orelvis homered as Dunedin won. Buffalo split a doubleheader, Kevin Smith had two hits in each game. Dilson Herrera had two homers in game two. Vancouver were down 4-0 after two innings, up 7-4 after three, up 10-8 in the middle of the eighth but lost to a ninth inning walk off. New Hampshire were rained out, again.
I have made an Executive Decision and separated the Game Thread from the Trade Deadline discussion.
I have this power, I try to use it for good.
The Blue Jays affiliates won four out of five Wednesday thanks to a doubleheader sweep and a big come-from-behind victory. An extra-inning loss prevented perfection. The FCL Blue Jays game against the Yankees was rained out. It will be made up on August 9 so save that date on your calendar.
Dunedin won big and Vancouver had a come-from-ahead loss. The Florida Complex Jays just simply lost. Buffalo and New Hampshire were rained out.
Four games with the Red Sox in Fenway, and the Blue Jays are going with an unproven RH making his season debut and three southpaws. In Fenway.
