Evert team picked up a win, except Dunedin. The FCL Jays won two. Pitching was the bright spot of the night. Casey Lawrence, Hayden Juenger, Nick Fraze, Ricky Tiedemann all had good appearances. The exception was Dahian Santos who had a bump on his way to a promotion. Some lesser ranked hitters had good nights. John Aiello, Spencer Horwitz, Miguel Hiraldo, Yhoangel Aponte and Tyler Keenan had multi hit games.

Strange stuff is going on in the Motor City, I tell ya.
New Hampshire, Vancouver and Dunedin racked up double digits in hits. New Hampshire and Dunedin won but Vancouver lost as Yosver Zulueta hit a speed bump. Buffalo could not find their bats.

Yeah, this is months late, but many lists didn't come out until very late, then I held off due to games every day. With a day off I finally put this together.
The affiliates won just one of six Wednesday.
Vancouver won. Dunedin lost. Buffalo's game against Worcester and New Hampshire's game in Binghamton were rained out. They will play two today.

I might take a plane
But if I have to walk
I'm going just the same
You know why? It's the thought of hitting against this pitching staff. That's quite the temptation, one difficult to resist, and of course the only way to get rid of a temptation is to give in to it.
Five games played, one win. Dunedin got the one win, the other affiliates lost. The FCL Jays join the fray tomorrow.
Seven games on the docket for Saturday, three doubleheaders. However Vancouver just played one, with the second game postponed. Buffalo and New Hampshire split their doubleheaders, Vancouver won and Dunedin lost. Casey Lawrence, Paxton Schultz, Ricky Tiedemann pitched really well as did Rafael Ohashi, up to a point. There was also some solid hitting on Saturday.
Yesterday both New Hampshire and Vancouver had walk-off wins. On Friday both were rained out. That left Buffalo and Dunedin who both lost to a walk-off in the ninth. Buffalo had to face Stephen Strasburg while bad pitching and defense cost Dunedin.

God save the Queen! It is Jubilee Weekend, after all, and I promise that none of us are going to see the next platinum jubilee. And then say hello to the first-place Minnesota Twins. Hey, didn't these guys suck just last year?
New Hampshire got a double from Orelvis Martinez as part of a four run ninth inning that tied the game. In the tenth Orelvis made an error and another dodgy play that let Portland take a two run lead. But then in the bottom of the inning Orelvis doubled again to tie the game. Spencer Horwitz then won it for New Hampshire. Vancouver also had a come from behind, walk-off win. Buffalo were not up to much, the only excitement came when Nate Pearson came into pitch. Dunedin also lost.

New Hampshire and Dunedin won. Vancouver nearly did. Buffalo's game in Rochester was rained out. They will play two on Saturday.
The affiliates had a perfect Tuesday with New Hampshire walking one off in extra innings, Vancouver coming out on the right end of a one-run game and Dunedin building a big lead before holding on. Buffalo had the night off.

The Jays kick off a six-game homestand that will see them playing the Class of the AL Central. First up are the second-place White Sox, who have been spinning their wheels a bit this season.
