The affiliates could only manage two wins out of six but the winning teams saw their pitchers no-hit the opposition for a combined nine innings.
The Vancouver Canadians put an end to a three-game losing streak thanks to five multi-run innings against the Everett AquaSox at Nat Bailey Stadium Friday night.
Francisco Rios got through five innings to pick up the victory in his last start of the season.
The affiliates had a winning Friday night by taking three out of five. They were 0-2 against Yankees farm clubs and 3-0 against everyone else.
The affiliates won just once in five tries Thursday.
The Blue Jays should be wired up to face the Orioles for the final time at The Dome this weekend.
The Jays affiliates are mostly limping to the end of the season. Only Lansing will keep playing past the weekend and all affiliates lost yesterday. Vancouver and the GCL Jays suffered 1-0 losses. For the GCL team it was the end of their season, they lost two games to none in the best of three final. Vancouver were eliminated from playoff contention after five straight years in the post-season. Buffalo had a bullpen loss, as did New Hampshire in extra innings. The game went to extras when Shane Opitz hit a two run, game tying, home run in the ninth. Lansing took a 4-0 lead to the ninth and had two outs with one baserunner on first. But Great Lakes scored seven runs with two outs for the win. But hey, Stroman!

The affiliates won three out of seven Tuesday with a doubleheader sweep being the highlight. The lowlight was a disappointing season finale. Meanwhile, Game 2 of the Gulf Coast League final between the Blue Jays and Red Sox was rained out. The two teams will play this morning in Dunedin for Game 2 and head over to Fort Myers later today if the Jays can force a third and deciding game.
The affiliates lost four out of six and all four losses were of the come-from-ahead variety. The most painful one was down on the Gulf Coast as the Jays are down 1-0 in the best-of-three GCL final. Dunedin's second game against Tampa was rained out and Vancouver had the night off.
The Blue Jays continue their homestand against the
president-less Clevelanders.
So many memories... so many base on balls...
This has been an amazing month (with one day to go). Have the Jays ever been this hot?
The GCL Jays won their semi-final today thanks to good pitching from Justin Maese and timely hitting by Jake Thomas and Juandy Mendoza. New Hampshire won in extra innings, Jack Murphy had the big hit. Richard Urena led Lansing to victory. Vancouver came from behind while Bluefield had to hang on despite conceding a six run ninth. Buffalo were the only losers, Dunedin's game was suspended.

The affiliates won just three of seven Saturday but continued to have the number of their Tigers counterparts.
Four wins and four losses on a Friday for the affiliates.
No wins on the farm. I can’t recall that ever happening.
