Devon Travis made his debut for the season at AAA and did not disappoint. Angel Perdomo was less impressive than previous outings, but is still in the conversation for best pitching prospect in the organization.

I haven't been following the team as closely as I normally would. I assume the bats are laying pitiful waste to the opposition?
It was close to a perfect night on the farm. AJ Jimenez went 4-4 and drove in four runs to lead the Bisons to victory. KC Hobson and Matt Dean each drove in three runs for New Hampshire. Anthony Alford drove in three for the D Jays. Jon Harris punched out eleven hitters but didn't get the win, Lansing won in extras.

The affiliates posted a 1-3 mark on Tuesday. The best performances came from a rehabbing Blue Jay and arguably the system's best pitching prospect of 2016.
The affiliates won one and dropped two on Monday. Lansing had the night off.
Moving right along....
The artists formerly known as the Devil Fishies will be infesting the Dome for the next three nights.
Sunday saw a split on the farm. Jeremy Gabryszwsli continued his good start to 2016 to keep New Hampshire's hot streak going. Several Lansing hitters, including Max Pentecost, had good days as they edged out a 7-6 win. Drew Hutchison pitched well for Buffalo but his own error cost them the game. Conner Greene was on the mound for Dunedin, he gave up some soft runs but it was the bullpen that lost the game. Devon Travis played again and had a hit.
Deep in the heart of Texas, where the locals have waited through the long, harsh winter for the chance to pay their respects to Jose Bautista.
Pentecost returns! Jon Harris and Angel Perdomo combined to two hit and shutout the visiting Cubs in Lansing. Perdomo, in particular, posted an impressive stat line of four no-hit innings of work. Further up the ladder Wade LeBlanc shutout the Durham Bulls and Rowdy Tellez homered in AA.

Derrick Loveless was promoted to New Hampshire on Monday. He pinch hit in yesterdays game and started his first double A game on Wednesday. In the seventh inning Loveless hit a two run home run to win the game for the Fisher Cats. That was the only win for the affiliates. Buffalo lost on a late unearned run. Dunedin were blown out early but made the score respectable in the end. In those games Dalton Pompey and Richard Urena had a couple of hits each. Lansing were fully blown out.

It was a Two-For-Tuesday special. Two wins in regulation and two overtime losses gave the affiliates a 2-2 record Tuesday night.
All four affiliates scored first with three of them doing so in their first at-bat. Those three all found the win column Monday night.
The Blue Jays head out to the West Coast for an interleague series in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Giants are 9-7 against the Blue Jays, including a 6-2 record at
AT&T Park.
Roberto Hernandez hoped to win a job with the Jays in spring training. That didn't happen so he left to find a major league job elsewhere. That job did not materialize so he came back to the Jays to pitch in Buffalo. He advertised his availability on Sunday with an excellent performance. He was helped by a two run tie-breaking double by Dalton Pompey. That was the only win for the affiliates. New Hampshire had only one hit. Dunedin kept it close until the seventh when a grand slam like triple put them in a deep hole. Lansing took mothers day off.

The Dodgers are in town for a 3 game set. Jays have bad luck getting the 2 best starters the Dodgers have going this weekend in Kershaw & Maeda (both over 200 for ERA+) while missing the 2 weakest Wood & Kazmir both with ERA+'s under 80.
