Jonathan Davis had two home runs for the Dunedin Jays by the third inning. That was more than Chris Rowley needed as he went 6.2 shutout innings. Sean Reid-Foley pitched six shutout innings for the Lugnuts but didn't feature in the decision. Lansing scored five runs between the seventh and eight innings to win. Justin Atkinson hit a big go-ahead home run. Four New Hampshire pitchers combined on a shutout. Jason Leblebijian and Wilkin Castillo each had three hits as part of an eight run barrage.
If you now have that song stuck in your head, my evil plan is working.... (Wuhahahah!)
An injury to Jon Harris put a damper on an otherwise stellar night on the farm. Three wins and a couple solid performances by some well-regarded prospects.

Scott Diamond pitched eight strong shutout innings and left just two runners on base. A couple of home runs helped the Bisons to a 4-0 win. Frank (Francisco) Rios struggled through two innings but then settled down to lead the Dunedin Jays to a win. Tayler (hot sauce) Saucedo pitched seven shutout innings as Lansing won 6-0. New Hampshire were the only losers despite another home run from Rowdy Tellez.

All four affiliates found the win column with only a doubleheader split preventing a 5-0 Tuesday on the farm.
The affiliates won two of out three on Memorial Day Monday. An extra-innings loss prevented the clean sweep. Dunedin's game in Daytona Beach was rained out.
"New York is thata way, man."
"Thanks kid!"
Angel Perdomo dominated the Cubs to the tune of one hit over seven innings but Starlyn Suriel gave up a walk off home run. Dustin Antolin also gave up a walk off home run to blow a 2-1 Buffalo lead. Dunedin lost in a more conventional manner, Justin Shafer was hit around. John Anderson was also hit around but New Hampshire scored eleven to get him off the hook and get the only affiliate win.

Someone should have told these guys 100 years ago that they spell "Socks" wrong. Amiright? Ah ah? Hey where's everyone going....
Two wins, two losses. The Bisons mashed, but the Fisher Cats struggled. The Baby Jays won handily, but the Lugnuts were bested.

Ryan Borucki likes pitching in the Midwest League much better than in the Florida State League. His six shutout innings keyed Lansing's win. Chris Leroux was also pitching shutout ball for the Bisons who won a 2-0 game. Dwight Smith hit another home run but it wasn't enough to win the game for New Hampshire. Conner Greene did not allow an earned run in three innings. His problem was the seven unearned runs.
An extra-innings loss was the only blemish on a 3-1 night on the farm. The good news included a come-from-behind win, a walk-off victory and the number of affiliates with winning records doubling in total.
Might need some help for this one, boys. Uh... Batman?
The affiliates took two out of three on Monday. Buffalo had the day off.
Its your abbreviated holiday weekend minor league update. Dwight Smith Jr has been red hot in May. Hos OPS has gone from .391 in April to 1.010 in May. Tayler Saucedo and Wade LeBlanc pitched well and picked up the second and third stars.
