Your affiliates were 3-5 on the evening on a fairly quiet night from the organization's prospects.

Buffalo won 1-0 on a solo home run and eight strong innings from Scott Diamond. New Hampshire continued their winning ways with Richard Urena starring. Dunedin split a doubleheader. In the game they won, Ryan McBroom hit a grand slam and Jon Harris pitched a seven inning complete game. In the game they lost, Sean Reid-Foley had a bad, bad start. Lansing had the night off. Bluefield had the bats going and they ran up eleven runs. Vancouver were well beaten with TJ Zeuch taking the loss. The GCL Jays won, again, with some good hitting at the top of the order.
The American affiliates won their games and the Dominicans won theirs too. The Canadian affiliate didn't hold up their end of the bargain in what was a 5-1 Tuesday on the farm. Dunedin's game in Daytona Beach was washed out and the Gulf Coast Blue Jays were also rained out again as they were to play a home and home doubleheader against the GCL Yankees East.
A win by the parent club dulls the pain of recapping this mess as the affiliates won just one of six games Monday. Buffalo and New Hampshire had the night off. The Gulf Coast Jays were washed out.
The Tampa Bay Rays are in Toronto looking to spoil the party again for the Blue Jays.
Cam O'Brien had four hits, three for extra bases, to spark a big comeback for Bluefield. Christian Lopes also had four hits as New Hampshire continued their hot streak. Rowdy Tellez had two bombs. Dunedin won in the ninth, Anthony Alford scored both Dunedin runs, one on a home run. Lansing won a 1-0 game. Buffalo split a double header. Vancouver lost.

Amazing. Just freaking amazing.
In light of the news out of New York this morning, it's time for me to enter the Way Back Machine and recycle something I wrote here back in June 2006, having first eliminated all references to whatever the Jays happened to be doing that day...
Ten months later, back to the scene of the crime...
Sam has gone on the 7 day DL so here is your emergency starter version of the MLU. Five wins and three losses for the affiliates on Thursday. Bluefield won two, New Hampshire stayed hot as did Richard Urena and Reese McGuire. Vancouver had a nice win. The GCL Jays had a walk-off, in more ways than one.

The Vancouver Canadians put an end to a nine-game losing streak by winning three in a row against Tri-City before the All-Star break.
Dalton Rodriguez started the series opener for the C's against the Dust Devils.
Richard Urena, Harold Ramirez and Reese McGuire joined New Hampshire on Wednesday and it was as glorious as you would want it to be. Dunedin had no problem replacing Urena, Gunnar Heidt took over with three hits. The GCL Jays were pounding it out too, thanks to some rehabbing minor leaguers and the hot Ryan Gold. Buffalo and Lansing were soundly beaten and, to make it worse, Lansing lost Max Pentecost to injury.
Vancouver and Bluefield had the day off

The affiliates came out on top five times out of seven on Tuesday and three Vancouver Canadians contributed to the Northwest League's victory over the Pioneer League in Utah.
The affiliates won four out of six on Monday that saw three one-run victories, including an extra-innings affair. The only blemish was a doubleheader sweep against the boys in the Dominican. Buffalo, New Hampshire and Vancouver all had the night off.
Here ya go, CF. (You were right!)
