Several Blue Jays hitters had big nights. The New Hampshire Fisher Cats came back from an 8-3 deficit to win 10-8. Unheralded Glenn Santiago had a big night and Josh Kasevich kept up his hot streak. Vancouver split a doubleheader. Dunedin continued to beat up Tampa, Yhoangel Aponte had four hits. Buffalo were rained out.
Ricky Tiedemann was wild on Thursday and Buffalo lost a rain shortened game. Damiano Palmegiani hit his first home run. New Hampshire's offense is hot and they rode some big performances to a win. Dunedin's pitching is hot and they shut down the Yankees to run their record to 5-1. Vancouver were rained out.

Buffalo 12 Rochester 11
New Hampshire Somerset PPD
Vancouver 2 Hillsboro 0
Dunedin 9 Tampa 2
*** 3 Stars!!! ***
3. Kendry Rojas, Vancouver
2. Dylan Rock, Vancouver
1. Danny Jansen, Buffalo
An organizational sweep! How about that?
It hasn't been a stellar start to the minor league season in the Jays system. But Sunday brought three wins, some good pitching and hitting. Dunedin were most impressive. Down 7-1 after Alek Manoah dug them a hole, they rallied for a walk off win. Buffalo and New Hampshire also had nice wins and although Vancouver lost, they scored six runs. Also while we wait to hear about Brandon Barriera, a new pitching prospect made a dazzling debut today.
Brandon Barriera was pulled from his start Saturday with an undisclosed injury. There is no such thing as a pitching prospect, yeah I know. This comes a day after Ricky Tiedemann had trouble finding the strike zone and on the same day that Chad Dallas and Devereaux Harrison had rough starts.
In better news both Buffalo and Dunedin came from behind to win with strong bullpen performances. New Hampshire lost big while Vancouver's bullpen cost them the game.

Buffalo split a doubleheader, Ricky Tiedemann had trouble finding the zone in game one. New Hampshire came from behind to win. Zach Britton had an excellent game. If only he can stay healthy. Vancouver had three hits and lost, Dunedin had just two hits and lost.

As I do most years here is a summary of the top prospects as seen by assorted popular sites including ours.
Our only affiliate game of the day belonged to the Buffalo Bisons and it was postponed due to rain.
Worcester Buffalo PPD
Like the parent club, the Herd waited until their last at-bat to put two runs on the board.
The Buffalo Bisons start their season this afternoon, at home. March baseball in Northern New York, yummy!
The Bisons are the only minor league affiliate in action this weekend so I will update this thread over the weekend with a summary.
Now that the top 30 is done, lets talk about some other guys in the system. We will start with the players who dropped off the 2023 list.

The middle 10 of our top 30 prospects is a real mix of players, from newly drafted pitchers to several players in AAA.

Welcome to the Blue Jays top 30 list for another year. It was a quiet year on the farm which is not always a good thing. Among the prospects, just one member of last year's top 30 was traded, that being Sem Robberse. Just one graduated, Davis Schneider. That leaves 28 players from last year's list and 18 of them are repeating on this list, which leaves room for twelve new prospects. As usual, there is always significant debate around the names on this list. While most of the top 20 would be on every top 30 list, there are a host of candidates for the bottom part of the list. Some are hanging on based on draft positioning or hopes of finding again the spark that made them stand out a few years ago. Then, on the other hand, are those who have had a good year in the lower minors where there are questions regarding their ability to repeat that at higher levels. Speaking of looking at previous years performances....
