Minor League Update C's Unveil 2025 Schedule
The Vancouver Canadians have shared their 2025 schedule, with the first home game scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 against the Spokane Chiefs, their rival from the 2024 season and the NWL Playoffs.

The Canadians return to action for the 2025 season on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Tri-City.

Thanks for the insight to the Vancouver team. Out of curiosity is the BC Dome able to be set up for MLB exhibition games? I know the Jays used to do the odd one there years ago but there was an issue with the lights not being bright enough iirc. Would love another MLB team or two in Canada with Vancouver being there with Montreal as expansion possibilities.

Not sure about BC Place. I haven't heard much talk about any baseball there recently John. The big thing is World Cup soccer. Stadium was basically built anew in 2011.

Haven't seen or heard of any other baseball plans for MLB type games in Vancouver.

Too bad. It'd be nice to get, say, a pre-season game between Seattle and the Jays there someday. Found a brief video from 31 years ago when the Expos with Larry Walker played the Mariners there. Another article mentioned the issues with the scoreboard being too low, thus in danger during a game. They said 2015 would be the earliest for a game at that time. But that is all I can find in Google. Weird as I remember watching Jays games on TV played in Vancouver but cannot recall who was on the team at the time thus hard to lock in a time frame. Probably late 90's, early 00's given the Expos game there.
