Buffalo Bisons

The Buffalo Bisons game was rained out on Wednesday making today’s game a doubleheader between them and the Worcester WooSox.

The Bisons send James Kaprielian to the mound for Game One. First pitch will be at 12:15 PM EDT. There is no start time or Buffalo starter announced for Game Two.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats

This one was all Binghamton as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats were blanked 7-0 Wednesday. Binghamton scored three in the third, one in the fourth, and three in fifth in this one.

Binghamton’s third inning saw a solo and two-run homer get the scoring started and the Rumble Ponies never looked back.

The Fisher Cats look to regroup today in this game sending Abdiel Mendoza to the mound. He is 6-6 with a 3.61 ERA. Game time is 6:35PM ET.

Vancouver Canadians

The Vancouver Canadian series with the Tri-City Dust Devils stands at 1-1 after the C’s 5-4 loss Wednesday night.

Doubles by Peyton Williams and Jackson Hornung got the C’s off to a good start but with four walks in the third and a two-RBI single by Juan Flores gave the Dust Devils a 4-1 lead by the middle of the third.

Juaron Watts-Brown (0-3) did retire the first six batters he faced but ran into the walk trouble we mentioned in the third. He finished the night with five walks and five strikeouts to go with three hits allowed.

Game Three in this series sees Mississauga, ON native Connor O’Halloran on the mound for the C’s. Game time is 7:05pm.

Dunedin Blue Jays

The Dunedin Blue Jays lost 7-5 in Game One of their doubleheader against the Daytona Tortugas on Wednesday but prevailed 12-1 in Game Two. The second game was a makeup of a June 22nd rain out.

Daytona roared out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first thanks to a Sammy Stafura three run homer.

Arjun Nimmala blasted his 10th homer of the year in the top of the seventh to make it 7-5 but Dunedin couldn’t muster any more runs.

In Game Two of this doubleheader, it would be Dunedin’s four runs in the third and six in the fifth that would propel them to victory.

Edward Duran’s double that scored two and Jean Joseph’s three run shot in the bottom of the third made it 5-1. The Blue Jays wouldn’t allow any further Tortuga runs in this one.

There are no announced starter’s for today’s game. First pitch will be at 6:35 PM ET.

Will Wagner's debut with Buffalo is going well: 2B, 1B, BB. Both hits were hard-hit line drives.

I'm optimistic this son of an Astros hall-of-famer will outperform the last one.
