NOTES
Buffalo had good pitching with a spot starter and two relievers. Nick Fraze made the start and went 3.2 innings. He shutout the Mets on one hit while striking out three. Luis Quinones followed and went 3.2 perfect innings, he struck out six.
Cam Eden hit a two run home run in the second inning. Will Robertson hit a solo home run in the eighth. Alan Roden had two hits. Eight hits for the Bisons.
CJ Van Eyk was wild again for NH. He walked two, hit two, and had five hits. He was charged with four runs, three earned, which actually lowered his ERA.
Ryan McCarty is liking AA. He has played 18 games in AA and now has six home runs. He added a single in the sixth and scored the third run and he drove in the fifth run with a single in the ninth. He had three of the Fisher Cats runs, and drove in three of the five runs.
Jeff Wehler hit a three run home run for Vancouver in the seventh inning to turn a 5-3 deficit into a 6-5 lead. Wehler added a single and a walk. Wehler is hitting .255 and hadn't achieved the levels he did in Vancouver last year. The C's had seven hits in the game, in addition to Wehler Jevon Ward also had two hits. Robert Brooks drove in two runs.
Connor O'Halloran went six innings. He did give up two runs but just one was earned. He struck out five.
Juaron Watts-Brown was not at his sharpest for an 11am start. He left the game after 4.2 innings with three runs on the board from four hits and three walks. Dahian Santos threw two innings in relief, he struck out five.
Five hits for the Jays, Arjun Nimmala hit a home run to deep left centre, his fourth. Victor Arias doubled and scored the other Dunedin run.
