NOTES

Bowden Francis was the winning pitcher in Buffalo's first game, throwing 2.1 very good innings. Andrew Bash had started and he gave up two runs in 3.2 innings. On the hitting side Spencer Horwitz, Addison Barger and Brian Serven had two hits each. Horwitz had a triple, Barger and Serven doubles. Leo Jimenez had two RBI.

The Bisons second game was a low scoring affair. Barger homered for Buffalo's only run, one of his two hits and half of Buffalo's total. Paolo Espino allowed two runs in 5.1 innings to take the loss.

New Hampshire scored eight runs on six hits. They benefitted from eleven walks. Alan Roden hit a two run home run in the first inning. Phil Clarke was the only one with two hits. Michael Dominguez did OK, three runs on five hits in five innings. The bullpen was outstanding, Hunter Gregory, Jimmy Burnette and Eric Pardinho did not allow a hit or a walk through four innings.

Vancouver lost game one by giving up three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Rafael Ohashi had started and lost his perfect record, three runs on five hits in 2.1 innings. The bottom three hitters in the order had six of the C's nine hits. Dylan Rock, Glenn Santiago and Jaden Rudd had two hits each, Santiago had three RBI.

Vancouver were hit around the park in game two, they gave up 22 hits in a seven inning game. Position players Jose Ferrer and Jean Arnaez were called on to pitch in the seventh. Dasan Brown had two hits for the C's.

Dunedin scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 win. They had just one hit through seven innings. In the eighth Victor Arias and Jean Joseph singled and Tucker Toman was hit by a pitch. A ground out and two sac flies scored the three runs. Nolan Perry started and struck out five in 2.2 innings. The Yankees got one hit off him.

In the FCL Maykel Minoso completed a two day cycle. He had all but the home run on Friday, he added the homer on Saturday, one of just four hits by the Jays. Enmanuel Bonilla is in the middle of a rough patch, he struck out three times.

In the last dozen or so games Orelvis has been playing 3B. It is possible that the 2B experiment is over due to the errors. I remember EE gave up 3B for DH and Gurriel switched from the IF to the OF also due to errors.

I find Ohashi very interesting. Hope he develops into a multi inning reliever. I don't know what he throws.

Another pitcher I really like is Troy Watson who is starting for Buffalo today. I hope somehow he can become a 90-105 pitch starter. He throws very hard and has a deep arsenal.

Jean Joseph doubled and homered for Dunedin today. He has a nice .258/.370/.455 line in the early going as a just-turned 19 year old centerfielder. His W/K of 10/16 is quite good too.

No history or notices, but perhaps a prospect.
