Buffalo were missing a few hitters but nevertheless they scored ten runs with fifteen hits. They had a nice win, as did Vancouver who also had a big hitting game. Dunedin won as Fernando Perez shut down Tampa. New Hampshire came up a run short.

Ten runs on 15 hits for the Bisons, all without a home run. Old reliable Spencer Horwitz had three hits and drove in four. Newly reliable Steward Berroa also had three hits. Raffy Lantigua, Brian Severn and Leo Jimenez each had two hits. Orelvis walked twice.

Andrew Bash started and went four innings with two runs allowed. Among the relievers Hayden Juenger struck out five in two innings.

New Hampshire trailed 4-2 heading to the ninth. Rainer Nunez reached on an error. Alan Roden, who wasn't in the lineup, came on to pinch hit. He hit into a double play. Andres Sosa then singled and Devonte Brown doubled to make it a one run game. Josh Kasevich walked but Alex De Jesus flew out. That DP was costly. NH had seven hits, Garrett Spain and Andres Sosa had two each.

Trent Palmer started and took the loss. CJ Van Eyk had a disaster start last time out. He threw three shutout inning in this game but he did have seven base runners. Eric Pardinho has been pitching well, he struck out the side in his one inning of work.

Vancouver had ten hits, including three home runs. Dasan Brown homered to lead off the game. The Tri-City lead off hitter, named Ketchup, also homered to make it 1-1. Brown later added a double and a walk. Brown is starting to hit more regularly now. He has bumped his average from .143 on April 17 to .265 now. Jackson Hornung hit his second home run of the season and singled. Brennan Orf also hit his second home run, singled and walked twice.

Kevin Miranda started, went five innings, allowing two runs.

Fernando Perez was outstanding for Dunedin on Friday night. Perez went five innings and struck out eight. Two hits and two walks led to one run. Perez had 16 whiffs, which is very good, ten of those came on his fastball. His FB averaged 93.4 mph.

Arjun Nimmala hit a two run home run in the first inning. He added a double in the eighth. The game was tied to two until the bottom of the eighth. A double by Jean Joseph and a triple from Manuel Beltre were the big hits, helping the Jays take a 5-2 lead. The Jays had six hits, Nimmala and Beltre had two each.
