Addison Barger broke the goose egg with a double to score placed/pinch-runner Steward Berroa. Cam Eden had the other extra-base knock for Buffalo. Spencer Horwitz had two singles. Leo Jiménez reached twice with a single and a hit by pitch and Barger also reached base twice with a walk. Nathan Lukes and Orelvis Martinez had the other Buffalo base hits. Martinez also threw out a runner at the plate from second base to keep the game scoreless in the eighth.Damiano Palmegiani wore the golden sombrero.

Yariel Rodriguez racked up four bagels by retiring the first 10 hitters he saw before issuing a walk. He struck out six and split his four outs in play on the ground and in the air. Lefty Mason Fluharty maintained the no-hit bid with two perfect frames before fellow southpaw Brendon Little gave it up but he still pitched two shutout frames. Hayden Juenger got the win with a shutout ninth by stranding a walk and a hit with an inning-ending strikeout. Hagen Danner got the save by striking out the side in the 10th.
