NOTES
Four Vancouver pitchers combined on a five hit shutout. Hunter Gregory started and went four innings, one hit, three walks, six K's.
The C's also had five hits. In the sixth inning Ryan McCarty singled, Cade Doughty was hit by a pitch and Gabriel Martinez singled in the winning run.
Buffalo had a 2-0 lead in the seventh. Jimmy Burnette came on to pitch and loaded the bases with two walks and a hit batter. Paul Fry was called on to replace Burnette but French Cordero doubled to clear the bases. Hayden Juenger gave up, wait for it, a home run in the eighth. Scranton had just three hits but two of the three hits delivered four runs. Those runs ruined a great start from Mitch White, 5.1 innings, one hit, nine strikeouts.
In the third inning Rafael Lantigua doubled in Cam Eden for the Bisons first run. Orelvis Martinez hit his tenth home run in the fourth for Buffalo's second run.
Ricky Tiedemann had a rough first inning. He did get the first two outs but then walked a hitter. The next batter homered. Tiedemann then walked the next two hitters and a single made it 3-0. Tiedemann gave up a lead off single in the second inning. The runner then stole second and third. But Ricky escaped despite hitting a batter. Tiedemann was done after two inning, he threw 59 pitches, 32 strikes and 27 balls. That was not a great start. Davis Feldman followed with four almost perfect innings. The only runner reached on a strikeout.
NH had six hits. Phil Clarke had two including scoring the first run on a ground out. Devonte Brown homered for the second run.
