NOTES
Jimmy Robbins made his first AAA start and it was a learning experience. In 4.2 innings he gave up seven hits and walked five.
Rafael Lantigua doubled in a run and walked three times. Luis De Los Santos had two hits. Just six hits total for Buffalo.
The first NH game was the continuation of yesterdays suspended game. Gabriel Ponce took the loss. Steward Berroa and Trevor Schwecke had two hits each.
Alejandro Melean started game two and struck out six in three shutout innings. NH have added two new pitchers who both pitched in game two. The new guys are 28 year old Trevor Clifton, originally drafted by the Cubs, and Joe Jones, another 28 year old, who had been pitching for Portland, Boston's AA team. Unfortunately NH lost game two on a throwing error in extra innings.
NH had six hits, Damiano Palmegiani had the big hit, a two run home run.
Rafael Sanchez started for Vancouver and the Hops had ten hits and five runs off him in four innings. The C's had six hits, Ryan McCarty hit his first home run in high A.
Roque Salinas singled in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth. That scored Abiezel Ramirez who had homered in the first inning for the Jays. Brennan Orf had three singles. Tucker Toman hit a ground rule double to score two runs.
Lazaro Estrada started, went four innings and gave up two unearned runs on two hits.
In the FCL Braden Barry hit his second home run in as many days. This was a pinch hit two run bomb. Bo Bonds, who was drafted in 2022, made his first pro appearance. He just threw one inning. Gage Stanifer followed and had his best start, five innings, one hit, five K's.
