NOTES

Nick Fraze made his first AAA start in game two for Buffalo. It did not go well, four runs allowed in 1.2 innings. Sean Mellen pitched well for New Hampshire in relief. That earned him a promotion to AAA. He made his first appearance following Fraze. Like Fraze he found AAA tough, three runs allowed in an inning.

In game two Spencer Horwitz was 2-3. That brought his average to over .300 and his OPS to .889.

Four New Hampshire pitchers combined on a one hitter. Sem Robberse went six innings, one hit, one walk, seven strikeouts. Juan Nunez followed with three K's in his inning with his 100 mph stuff. Hagen Danner struck out two in an inning and Troy Watson handled the ninth.

Will Robertson has been hot over the last few games, he delivered the game winning sac fly to score Steward Berroa. Hew Hampshire had four hits, Berroa and Leo Jimenez had two each.

It was Dahian Santos night for Vancouver. He went five innings, struck out five, and was charged with an unearned run. Good relief pitching from Matt Svanson and Connor Cooke helped the C's to the win.

Gabriel Martinez drove in two runs with two hits, one a double. Riley Tirotta also had two hits, one of them a triple. That kept his average at .340 and his OPS over a thousand.

Dunedin's game was rain shortened. Glenn Santiago singled in one run and Peyton Williams singled in two.

Some prospects are up to 70+ ABs, so the sample size is getting reliable. SPs are at 5/6 starts in some cases. Soon we will get to 10 starts which will give a clearer picture.

The fast starts of doughty and Toman are looking a bit false. The good starts for young pitchers like Robberse and Kloffenstein are impressive so far. Need to get to 10 starts.

Mitch White is todays starting pitcher for Buffalo.

CJ Van Eyk starts for Dunedin, his first start in over a year.

Van Eyk, returning from TJ, was up to 94 mph and sitting 92. None of the secondary offerings were really sharp. Through 50 pitches he had just 3 whiffs.
