This is what I noted from yesterday's games.
It was another bullpen day for the Bisons. Five pitchers used, four of them allowed runs.
Offensively the Bisons were no hit through seven and two thirds when Chavez Young got on on an infield single.
Orelvis got the night off and the Fisher Cats scored eleven runs in the first three innings. There were no home runs in that outburst, almost every hitter got a hit. Spencer Horwitz did homer in the eighth as NH tacked on more runs. Horwitz finished the game 4-6, scoring five and driving in five. In addition to the home run he doubled twice. Trevor Schwecke was 4-6 with three RBI. Luis De Los Santos drove in four. Cam Eden, Rafael Lantigua and Zac Cook also had two hits each.
Trent Palmer was the beneficiary of the runs but he didn't need that many. Palmer went 5.2 shutout innings and fanned nine. Luis Quinones came out of the pen to pitch the last three innings with no hits and no walks allowed.
Ricky Tiedemann had a rough first inning, single, walk, double, double, led to three runs. Tiedemann went five innings with no hits allowed in the other four innings. He struck out six.
Zach Britton went deep twice with two solo shots.
One of the Nathanael Perez's started and threw four shutout innings. The other Nathanael Perez also pitched but he wasn't as good.
Adriel Sotolongo was 2-3 with a walk and he drove in two runs. Estiven Machado was 2-3 with two walks. Amell Brazoban also had two hits.
