This is what I noted from yesterday's games.
Hyun Jin Ryu gave up five runs on five hits. Two of the runs were earned due to a Josh Fuentes error.
The Bisons scored six runs on four hits, plus eight walks. Samad Taylor and Stevie Berman hit solo home runs. Otto Lopez tripled while Moreno and Groshans had the day off.
In Vancouver's first game three pitchers combined on the shutout. Chad Dallas went four innings but he wasn't sharp. He needed 87 pitches, 48 strikes and 39 balls. He walked five. The C's first two runs scored on an error and the second two on a home run by Addison Barger.
In game two Adam Kloffenstein continued to pitch better. He went five innings with two hits and two walks. He struck out six. The C's had just four hits, all singles, PK Morris had two of them.
Dahian Santos started for Dunedin, went four innings and had a similar line to Kloffenstein. Two hits, two walks and seven K's. Michael Dominguez was wild and was charged with four runs.
Gabriel Martinez had two of the Jays five hits as he stays hot.
