The Bisons hitters shopped early for best selection against the Nationals affiliate, scoring all five runs in the second inning. Otto Lopez doubled home a run and Logan Warmoth singled home another before Nash Knight clubbed a three-run homer. Warmoth drew a walk to get on base twice while Christian Colón doubled, drew a free pass and was hit by a pitch to get aboard thrice. Kellin Deglan singled and walked but Kevin Smith was 0-for-4.
Nick Allgeyer scattered two hits and a walk over five shutout innings for the win. He struck out four and got five of his seven outs in play on the ground. Graham Spraker put up a couple of bagels in his Triple-A debut, working around two hits and striking out three. Hobie Harris and Jacob Barnes struck out one over the final two frames.

New Hampshire FC was held to just six hits as they were kept in check by 2020 Nationals first-rounder Cade Cavalli. Chavez Young had two hits and Vinny Capra had a double. Samad Taylor drew a walk but Jordan Groshans was hitless in four at-bats.
Jeremy Beasley took the loss, giving up a run on a hit and a walk while striking out two over two innings. Connor Law gave up the other run over 2-2/3 frames. Brandon Eisert pitched 2-1/3 scoreless innings, offsetting three hits with three strikeouts. Emerson Jimenez worked a scoreless eighth.

The Canadians scored four runs in the seventh and four in the eighth to outslug the Mariners affiliate.Down 4-2 heading into the seventh, Orelvis Martinez sparked the comeback with his third home run since joining the C’s. Philip Clarke had a three-hit, three-RBI night that included a double. Eric Rivera also had three hits while Sebastian Espino reached base three times with a double, a single and a walk along with three RBI. Will Robertson also had two hits and a free pass and collected an RBI. Spencer Horwitz singled and walked twice and Luis De Los Santos had a double and a walk.
Alex Nolan allowed three runs on five hits and two walks over four innings with eight out of his 10 outs in play on the turf. Andrew Bash earned the win by working two innings and giving up a solo homer. Parker Caracci pitched two shutout frames and Roither Hernandez finished off the ninth without a run scoring.
St. Lucie 1 Dunedin 0 (Final - 5 Innings)
The D-Jays had just three hits in this one, two of them from the rehabbing Josh Palacios. The other hit belonged to Steward Berroa. Both Palacios and Berroa were caught stealing along with Riley Tirotta, who walked twice.
A.J. Cole opened with a shutout first. Carl Edwards Jr. was nicked for an unearned run in the second and took the loss but struck out two. Rafael Monsion pitched a two-hitter over two innings and struck out three. Elixon Caballero blanked the Mets in the fifth.

This was the completion of the August 5 game. The Jays were leading 5-4 when the game was suspended but the Tigers scored twice against Joey Murray in his season debut to pull out the win.

Geison Urbaez shutout the Tigers through four innings on five hits and a walk and struck out four. Jiorgeni Casimiri got through the fifth but Jimmy Burnette was charged with all four runs in two-thirds of an inning. Soenni Martinez got the blown save before getting the final out.
