Freudian slip over what Wheaterly served.

Could have been Weatherly's words.

Yeah, that was harsh, Weatherly's line wasn't that bad.

Reggie Pruitt has been promoted to Dunedin.

I guess it's one of those promotions when the kid becomes too old for the class.

Well, you can imagine that Pruitt has basically no power.
He's hitting .273 with an OBP of .352. He's got 92 hits, including 12 doubles and 8 triples.
He's got 40 walks versus 101 strikeouts.
He stole 40 bases and got caught 13 times.

I don't think the Jays will ever try a burner in centerfield, but he's sorta viable if he can carry those numbers all the way up.  The one knock is that he hits right.

Whoops! Why proofreading is essential, example #692,220,111.

My apologies to everyone and to Kyle Weatherly, who was nice to enough to grant me an interview last year.

I would've traded Pruitt for Fisher. Can we swap?

Justin Dillon had another very good game for New Hampshire today. Over his last 6 games, he has pitched 31 innings, allowing only 20 hits and 9 walks for a WHIP under 1.00, and only 5 earned runs for an ERA of 1.45. He's having a pretty good season, and is another one of the guys who could be in the AAA rotation next year. He's 25, but has only pitched 228 innings in pro ball so far.

No apologies needed #2JBrumfield, provided a great chuckle...great recap as always.

That was a great interview with Weatherly. The Latin players. Also that he has 4 workable pitches.

This year he is a reliever, but many 2-3 inning outings. I am probably in error but Casey Janssen had a 6 pitch variety and his velo was maybe 94. That gives me hope.

Z Jackson and j McLellend I think are mainly 2 pitch pitchers.

Then there is the command and control factor.
