Minor League Update Borucki: tour de force
This is your abbreviated, abbreviated MLU. Jon Berti had three hits in a win for AAA Buffalo. Ryan Borucki’s AA dominance continued last night with a seven-inning shutout. Richard Urena also had two hits in that game. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had three hits in Dunedin. Guerrero Jr. has come on of late after starting slowly in Dunedin. Justin Maese was roughed up in a blowout loss in Lansing. Kacy Clemens’ three hits were not enough in an extra inning loss in Vancouver. Bluefield played two yesterday and lost both. Our GCL and DSL affiliates were big winners. Luis De Los Santos had three hits in Florida and every batter in the Dominican Republic hit safely at least once.

Looks like the Jays have signed IF Ricky Negron, who was just drafted in the 34th round as a uni senior by the Braves.

I don't recall a June draftee signing with another team so soon after the draft before, but he's another guy, along with Bichette, who may have a preference for the Jays.  That certainly does speak well to our developmental program, and the new FO.  He is very close with Robbie Alomar and sounds like an upstanding kid.  No news beyond the Jays' transaction page, so this is if from when the Braves drafted him:

Another good game for Leonel Campos today - he's had 5 good appearances since coming back from injury. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back with the Jays soon. ERA just over 2.00 and WHIP just over 1.00 with Buffalo.

Thomas Pannone had a rough 1st outing for NH - 5 ER in 4 1/3 IP on 6 hits (2 HRs) and 3 walks.

Vlady jr. is catching up to Bo. Vlady up to .300 BA now, and Bo is 2 for his last 18 to drop to .356.

DJ Davis is hitting .355 over his last 9 games with a HR and 4 SB. He seems like he's been stumbling around the farm system forever, but he just turned 23 in July.
