Buffalo Bisons
Buffalo got spanked. I will highlight the three-for-three day by Ian Parmley.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats
New Hampshire walked off in the tenth. Jonathan Davis had the game-winning single. Francisco Rios worked three scoreless innings in his first start since early May. Shane Dawson followed with five innings of one-run baseball. Steve Pearce was held hitless in his first rehab appearance.
Dunedin Blue Jays
Max Pentecost led off and decided that a walk is never a bad thing. He had two. Bradley Jones continued his scuffles since his call-up. He was 0-fer and kicked a ball at third base. Angel Perdomo pitched five innings of one (un)earned run baseball. Two walks and four strikeouts for the big lefty. Apparently there is a beer, bacon, and fireworks promotion tomorrow, which sounds like just about the greatest thing. What’s your favourite promotion?
Lansing Lugnuts
First, what did baby Vladdy and Bichette do? Well, Monsieur Guerrero had three hits and three RBIs. Two of those hits were doubles. Bo had two hits and one RBI, and doubled just the once. There’s really no second with Lansing now that Bradley Jones has been promoted.
DSL Blue Jays
Our most junior affiliate is up and running and has started their season strong with four wins. They picked up their first loss tonight, falling to the “No. 1” Diamondback DSL affiliate. It’s my understanding that none of the current roster are considered July 2 bonus darlings, but usually a few have good years and earn promotions to one of short-season affiliates stateside the following year.
