Just one win in three games for the affiliates Monday and it came on the lowest rung on the ladder. New Hampshire and Lansing had the day off.
Buffalo Bisons
Shane Opitz had the lone two-hit night for the Bisons. He is hitting .308 in his last 10 games with three two-hit games in this last four. Roemon Fields saw his nine-game hitting streak come to an end by going 0-for-4. Dwight Smith Jr. was 1-for-4 to push his on-base streak to 14 games. Since the Jays sent Mike Ohlman down the road to Buffalo, he has reached base in 11 straight contests and 12 overall after a 1-for-4 night at the plate.
Dunedin Blue Jays
Max Pentecost had a three-hit night to push his batting average to .304. Connor Panas and Juan Kelly also had three hits apiece and are both 5-for-9 in his last two games. Bradley Jones has a hit in his first three games with Dunedin since his call-up from Lansing. D.J. Davis had a hit and stole his 14th base but struck out three times.
Lucas Harrell lasted four innings in his second outing of the year, giving up just one run on two hits while striking out three.
DSL Blue Jays
Kenny Mauricio was 2-for-2 with an RBI and Yhon Perez had two hits and a walk.
Starter Naswell Paulino struck out five over 2-1/3 scoreless frames. Adolfo Molina got the win with 1-2/3 shutout innings of relief. Gaudy Ramirez followed with a gaudy strikeout total of six to offset two walks over 2-2/3 shutout innings.
