New Hampshire lost a one-run game. Lansing won big.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats

Conner Greene took the loss but went a season-long seven innings, giving up two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four. That's three starts in a row in which he has yielded two runs to chop his ERA down to 3.52. Nine of his 11 outs in play were on the ground. Tim Mayza has sliced his ERA down from 108.00 to 3.86 after recording his sixth straight scoreless appearance covering nine innings, striking out nine while walking one.

Tim Lopes had a two-hit night to push his batting average to .317 and extend his hitting streak to 10 games. He had six two-hit games, including four in a row at one point, to go along with six doubles, a triple and four stolen bases. Anthony Alford went 0-for-4.

Lansing Lugnuts

Edward Olivares hit for the cycle, including his fourth home run of the season. That lifted his batting average to .217. J.B. Woodman went yard for the first time and added a double and a walk. He also struck out once, giving him 27 whiffs over 72 plate appearances which translates to a 38 percent strikeout rate. He's walked just four times so far. In spite of that, he's hitting .288 on the season. Bradley Jones was a homer short of the cycle, Bo Bichette singled and walked twice and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doubled in five at-bats.

Patrick Murphy was an out short of qualifying for the win. He gave up four runs on nine hits and three walks and the Midwest League is hitting .349 against him over his three starts. Philip Walby earned the victory with 1-1/3 shutout innings. Nick Hartman gave up a run over one inning after returning from a suspension related to a bench-clearning brawl. Jackson McClelland got the final six outs, two of them K's, to convert his third save in as many opportunities.

Ha, I saw the headline and immediately flashed back about 20 years, wondering why Omar Olivares was still pitching.

The thing I'm looking for from Greene is improved control while not losing strikeouts. That one BB is encouraging, but on the year he's still at a terrible 4.7/9. That's over his AA career average of 4.4/9, though the K's are up by 20% so far this year.

Both New Hampshire and Lansing were facing good prospect pitchers. Lansing obviously did better against Dylan Cease (#4 prospect, Cubs) than the Fisher Cats did against Chance Adams (#8, Yankees).

I totally missed this transaction, but apparently Pompey is now on these 60 day DL and ineligible until June. This is terrible news and really puts his future in doubt if his concussion symptoms are severe enough to warrant that.
Smith could leapfrog him off he continues his good play.
Anyone know of he's changed anything?

I think a few of us expected Pompey to go on the 60 day DL. I expect that it is retroactive.
I am very interested in seeing how his last option is either saved or used up. IMO when/if he fully recovers he does not need 100s of AAA ABs to develop as a prospect. If we stash him in the ML 4th OF role the devaluation may only be small.

"....apparently Pompey is now on these 60 day DL...."

The semi-official Jays 40-man roster (on MLB.com) does show Pompey on the 60-day DL.  It's very odd, for two reasons: 1) there wasn't any official announcement, as far as I can tell;  2) it wasn't actually necessary, since the 40-man roster currently has 39 names on it.  I can't think of any transaction that would have required Pompey to be removed from the 40-man roster, and there's still room for him today. So -- is it possible that this is a technical mistake by MLB.com in its roster listing?   If it's not a mistake, then Pompey certainly has some issues.  It's not normal to need 60 days to recover from a concussion, even though it was his second concussion.  Something has complicated his recovery, and I'm curious what it is.  Alternatively it's just very bad luck, of the kind that Pompey has suffered for a couple of seasons now.  It's very unfortunate.  He deserves a reversal of fortune.

Pompey went on the 60 day DL when Leone came to Toronto according to Rotoworld.

Pompey (concussion) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Saturday, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet reports. (about 2 days ago)

The 40 man roster is currently full. The one on the Jays' website that only has 39 names on it is wrong. They are missing Danny Barnes who was optioned to Buffalo recently and is still on the 40 man.
