Greg Burke and Ben Rowen pitched 3 innings of hitless relief for the Bisons.  Both, I believe, are submarine-style pitchers.  Interesting to have two submariners in the same bullpen.  I wonder if one of them might be called up to the Jays in September to provide a different look in the bullpen?  Have the Jays had any submariners on the team since Mark Eichhorn?

Ben Rowen hasn't allowed a run in ~13 IP since joining Buffalo. He hasn't allowed a hit (just one walk) in his last five outings (5 IP). I'm not sure what more he needs to do in order to get a September call-up. However if Delabar, Tepera, Loup, and maybe Jenkins are all coming up, I'm not sure he'd ever get a chance to pitch, unless it was a bad blowout or a long extra inning game.

AA has 6-8 guys will be called up, only those likely to get into games.  That means Thole as 3rd catcher, Pompey, hopefully Travis and stroman are back, Kawasaki and perhaps matt hague for his killer season and 3b depth.

Tepera, Delebar and Loup are close to locks.  No room in my mind for Rowen or Burke, who has had a quietly amazing season between AA and AAA and has big league experience.

wildcard would be a third lefty - steve francis who can also be a long guy or longshot chad girodo, who's pitching great in AA and hasn't given up a run to a lefty all year - a true LOOGY, if Gibbons wants one.

lots of deserving guys are going to be left off the list.  also sad to see the dispute between the Jays and Tolleson, or else he'd be an option as well.  According to the article ChinaFan posted yesterday, it seems like its a dispute over giving the guy an MLB paycheque while he rehabs, or a minor league one.  seems like bad mojo to be cheap in a situation like that, although I admit to not knowing a thing about the specifics.

"....Tepera, Delebar and Loup are close to locks.  No room in my mind for Rowen or Burke...."

That's what I've been assuming, but I'm also remembering last year when the Jays refused to promote Delabar in September because he wasn't pitching well and the Jays figured he needed to clear his head and take some time off.  The equivalent situation this year might be Loup, who is pitching badly in Buffalo and has had a rough year.  Maybe they give him until Sept. 7 in Buffalo and then give him the rest of the year off.   Unless they want him in a very strict LOOGY role in the Toronto bullpen.

I think that Fields is as likely, if not more likely, to be brought up as anyone else mentioned. He will actually play, if only as a pinch runner.

If memory serves you might call Justin speier a submarine, possibly just sidearm. Either way it was unconventional.

First and foremost, I also admit not knowing a thing about the dispute but I would like to add just one idea. Why not trade Tolleson to another team for an asset to be used in Buffalo ? Say a veteran bat, who would have been DFA'ed, to help Matt Hague in the lineup.
