Syracuse, NY - The Bisons fought back from a 5-0 deficit only to lose when the Nationals affiliate scored a run off Miguel Castro (1-3) in the eighth. Castro coughed up the lead on two hits while striking out one. Daniel Norris set down the Chiefs in order in the first but was knocked around for five runs over the next two innings. He did retire seven of the last eight hitters and picked off a runner but he still surrendered five runs (four earned after a Jon Berti error at second) on four hits and four walks with only two strikeouts. He did induce 10 groundouts but only got a Game Score of 37. Greg Burke worked around a hit and a walk to strike out the side in the sixth and Joba Chamberlain whiffed tww of the three he face faced in a perfect seventh.
Andy Burns got Buffalo on the board in the sixth with an RBI double and Josh Thole singled home another as part of a three-run sixth. Burns singled home another run in the seventh and Jonathan Diaz brought in the tying run in the eighth with an RBI groundout. Alex Hassan had three hits and Dalton Pompey had two hits and a walk. Manchester, NH - The Fisher Cats combined all their runs in two innings to shut down the Senators. Matt Newman started a five-run rally in the second with a home run and Shane Opitz smacked a three-run triple before scoring on a Kevin Nolan single. Ryan Schimpf gave New Hampshire more breathing room by swatting a three-run bomb in the eighth. Roemon Fields had three hits at the top of the order while Schimpf was on base three times with two hits and a walk. Nolan added a pair to the hit column while Jorge Flores added two to the BB column. Emilio Guerrero got a double and K.C. Hobson had a base knock. Martin Medina was 0-for-4.

He struck out two to wind up with a Game Score of 25. Josh DeGraaf went the next four innings and limited the Mariners affiliate to a solo home run among two hits with a couple of strikeouts. Turner Lee struck out one in a shutout eighth.
Ryan Hissey had the only extra-base hit for Vancouver Monday night in Everett.

Aaron Attaway led off the ninth with a home run and that was followed by an Andres Sotillo walk. Rodrigo Orozco bunted pinch-runner Dave Pepe into scoring position but Yeltsin Gudino struck out and D.J. McKnight popped up to end the game. Sotillo grounded one up the middle to score a pair of runs in the second while a Deiferson Barreto double and an Attaway single provided two more runs in the fourth. Attaway was 4-for-4 and Barreto went 3-for-4. Gudino doubled while Christian Williams and Juan Tejada singled. McKnight was hitless in five at-bats while Orozco and Gabriel Clark were a combined 0-for-8.

They opened the scoring with a two-out rally in the first when Jake Thomas singled home a Lance Jones double. Thomas also opened the scoring in the third with a bases-loaded walk. Bryan Lizardo drove in another with a double and Javier Hernandez smacked a two-run extra bagger. Jones brought in other with a bases-loaded base on balls. The other runs scored on two errors and a wild pitch. Miguel Almonte had an RBI single in the fourth before the Jays offence called it a day. Lizardo shared the hit lead with Hernandez and Levi Scott and joined Jones and Thomas as the on-base champion with a walk. Jones and Thomas drew a pair of free passes to go with their hits. Almonte and Reggie Pruitt each had a hit and a walk while Kalik May got on twice with a walk and a hit by pitch. Jesus Severino got on once with a walk while Robert Lucido was 0-for-1 pinch-hitting for Thomas as the designated hitter.

Y-Rod tripled home the first run of the game in the first inning and the Jays added three more in the second on a Jesus Navarro double, a Sterling Guzman single and a Norberto Obeso groundout. Anderson Green also had an RBI groundout to bring home another run in the third. Guzman tripled in another run in the seventh. Navarro, Guzman, Fuentes, Green, Yorman Rodriguez and Francisco Rodriguez all had two-hit games and Obeso had two walks. Manuel Herazo and Christian Peguero also joined the hit parade. Andres Guerra grounded out pinch-hitting for Herazo. Y-Rod had the only stolen base and F-Rod was hit by a pitch.
Wilfri Aleton was whipped for three runs on six hits and a walk with one whiff in four innings.
