Another successfull season for the Canadians came to an end last night, but unfortunately the Canadians streak of three consecutive Northwest League championships came to an end.

The Canadians fell behind early 4-0, they managed to score 3 runs, but it wasn't enough, as they fell 4-3, losing the series 2 games to none.

Vancouver 3 – Hillsboro  4 (Hillsboro Wins 2-0)

The Canadians fell behind early, as starter Matt Smoral allowed 3 runs in the first, and another in the second.  Matt Finished with a line of 2.2IP 3H 4R 4ER 3BB 3SO.  Jonathan Wandling pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, Andrew Case had 1.2 scoreless innings, and Michael Kraft finished the game out with 1.1 scoreless.

The middle of the Canadians lineup was productive today, but didn’t get much support elsewhere.  Franklin Barreto was 2-5, with a run scored, Chris Carlson was 2-4, with a walk, and 2 runs scored.  Finally Ryan McBroom was 3-4, with a double, and 2 RBI.

Three Stars

1.  Ryan McBroom

2.  Chris Carlson

3.  Jonathon Wandling

btw...considered Mitch Nay, but left him outside. He should definitely get an HM though.

I find it hard to rank Hoffman at #5 when he hasn't thrown a pitch yet. The same goes for Pentecost and SRF who haven't really got much of a track record yet.

Just because he hasn't thrown a pitch yet, doesn't mean he has no history. Was a potential #1 overall prior to the injury.

Very nice list. A lot of talent. I have no argument with this list. Thanks.
I suppose A Sanchez does not have enough ML playing time to be off the list as a prospect. Cannot argue with him being #1 on the list.
I like all 20/21 mentioned. If going up to 30 AJ Jimenez, Mitch Nay, J Stilson?, A Burns?, A Alford?, DJ Davis? A Tirado (still like him), S Dawson, T Robson, R Borucki, Dan Jansen. I should stop now.
