Vancouver moves on and will once again vie for the Northwest League Championship.

Vancouver swept away the Rangers’ affiliate staving off a late rally in the process. Starter Jairo Labourt went a solid six innings allowing just the solitary run. He struck out three and limited the walk to two. The bottom of the order led the way for the Canadians. Left fielder Jonathan Davis, 2B/SS Richard Urena, and Catcher Michael De La Cruz drove in all five Canadians’ runs. Davis tripled amongst three hits and an RBI. De La Cruz doubled twice and drove in three runs. Wedged in between those two, Richard Urena tripled and drove in a run as well. The Canadians move on and will start their championship series on Saturday in Vancouver.

I know they added Tellez to the roster...anyone if maybe they did the same with Castro?

I think Chase Mallard or Matthew Smoral will be the starter for Game 1. Mallard was supposed to start Game 2 vs Spokane with Labourt for Game 3 but the rainout Tuesday and the Game 1 win led to the rotation change. The rotation will probably be Mallard, Smoral and Ryan Borucki if the series goes the limit. As for Castro, I'd be surprised to see him as he is two steps up the minor league ladder and it's my understanding the C's needed league approval just to get Tellez down from Lansing. Maybe another call-up from Bluefield or the GCL to help the pen is in the works.

Sean Reid-Foley was added from the GCL. I am not sure what role he will fill.
