With playoff spots already wrapped up, the Vancouver Canadians and the Spokane Indians made one last curtain call for the regular season. This gave the C's a chance to give some playing time to their back-ups and put their singing talents to good use.

In a tradition that has taken place over the last few seasons, the Canadians players, coaches and other on-field personnel sing O Canada for the last regular season game at Nat Bailey Stadium. Among the players in the choir include #6 Richard Urena, #9 Justin Shafer, #16 Phil Kish and #47 Jairo Labourt. The tallest of the group is 6-foot-8 Matthew Smoral.

The first three hitters in the batting get ready for action. From left to right - Jonathan Davis, Ryan Metzler and Ryan McBroom.

Daniel Lietz walked six batters but allowed just one run over four innings on three hits while striking out three. He was helped out by two of the four double plays that were turned by the C's.

Michael De La Cruz scores the first run of the game in the second inning on a Jonathan Davis groundout. De La Cruz led off the inning with a single. He would finish 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored.

Trent Miller had a single and made it to third base in the second but he would be stranded there.

Ryan Metzler looks skyward in between pitches during his second inning at-bat. He would ground out to end the inning but the third baseman finished with two hits, turned an unassisted double play and made a beautiful over-the-shoulder catch near the third base line in the seventh inning.

From Northwest League All-Star last season to all but forgotten this season, Brenden Kalfus was hit by a pitch in the third inning and scored the second run of a three-run third inning for Vancouver. Kalfus also drew a walk to reach base twice.

C's first baseman Seth Conner receives the throw from at first base to retire Spokane's Jose Cardona to end the eighth inning. You can see the baseball just above Cardona's left knee.

Adaric Kelly took over for Zak Wasilewski after three scoreless frames and contributed two scoreless innings of his own, giving up just a single and striking out a couple of batters to earn his first save. One of the K's resulted in a wild pitch, allowing a runner to reach base in the ninth.

Shortstop Christian Vazquez - who singled and scored the C's final run - handles the final out of the game with a 6-3 putout to seal the C's 4-1 victory and a club record-tying 46th win of the season.

You've had a great season #2JB. Thank you for all the images; some of the finest baseball shots I've seen.
