Anyone know what is going on with Jake Anderson? It seems he hasn't played in a game since June 22nd.

Daniel Lietz is looking good. Of course it is very early. He is one of 6 SPs that are all good. A Tirado will be back soon from his sore shoulder.

Sanchez threw 7 decent innings and leaves with a 4-3 lead.  Brett Cecil is on in relief in the eighth.

I was all excited about Sanchez only having 1 BB, but then you see the HBP, Balk, and Wild Pitch. But a two thirds strike ratio is huge for him.

All of those HBP, balk and walk came in the seventh inning. Sanchez was dominant through five, then shaky in the sixth and seventh. But Sanchez is not used to pitching that late in games.

Sanchez needs to be allowed to go deeper into games. This will build up his arm and he will learn what it takes. Like does his stuff stay the same and how to adjust. The hitters will adjust.
