Casey Lawrence retired the first twenty hitters in the second game of a doubleheader. He was one out away from perfection. New Hampshire swept the doubleheader. Buffalo won as PJ Walters made a very good start. Lansing won in extra innings. Bluefield rode a grand slam from Richard Urena to victory.
Dunedin lost in the bottom of the ninth. Vancouver tried a comeback but fell short. The GCL Jays rode the roller coaster but came up short.

A five run eighth sealed the deal for the Bisons. In the eighth AJ Jimenez and Andy LaRoche each drove in two runs. The Bisons first run was a solo shot by Ryan Schimpf, the second scored on a ground out. Ryan Goins was the only hitter with two hits.
PJ Walters pitched very well to just give up one run in seven innings on four hits. In the seventh Walters had a runner on third with no outs and he managed to escape without the run scoring. Steve Delabar pitched a 1-2-3 eighth.
New Britain 2 New Hampshire 3 - game 1
New Hampshire scored a run in the seventh to tie and send the game to extra innings and then scored the winning run in the eighth in walk-off fashion. Mike McDade homered in the seventh to tie the game. Jon Berti doubled in the eighth to drive in Kenny Wilson. Six hitters each had one hit.
Radhames Liz went five innings and was charged with the two runs. Tyler Ybarra pitched the eighth to get the win.

A walk off win for the Yankees. Gustavo Pierre started the ninth with an error. Efrain Nieves got a couple of outs but then ran into a game winning single. Ben White had his best start in a while, just one unearned run allowed.
The Jays were held to four hits. Dwight Smith drove in the only run.

Franklin Barreto had two hits, two RBI's and a walk. Michael De La Cruz also had two hits and he added two walks.
Pulaski 5 Bluefield 6
