Another lefty for the Jays to contend with in the series finale while the Pale Hose face another pitcher with initials as a first name. Chris Sale (1-1, 5.21) will face the knuckleball stylings of R.A. Dickey (1-2, 5.82) at 7:07 p.m.

The key thing is for the Jays to win. Winning solves a lot of issues. Of course, that is kind of a 'duh' statement isn't it? But here it is true vs Tampa and Oakland (both down over 4k per game). FYI: Miami is down 10k+ per game over 9 games. KC, who also decided to 'go for it' is up only 122 per game.
So now we could be down our ace, our best hitter (Bautista), our shortstop (Reyes), and our former ace (Romero) after finally getting Lawrie back. Sheesh. Which person angered the gods of health? C'mon, admit it and sacrifice something already to get the good health back.
Last year home attendance through first three series was 108,109 (Bos); 70,595 (Bal) and 50,135 (Tam). This years home attendance through first three series was 92,987 (Cle); 132,293 (Bos) and 65,585 (Chi). Last year Toronto's first home stands verses Cleveland was 13-15 July with 91,232 attending and verses Chicago was 14-16 August with 75,721 attending. Overall numbers might be up, but regular numbers verses Chicago are way down (approx. 35,000). Chicago's a good team attendance should be better. If Toronto people were out spending money, but not going to a Game or Event, shame on you.
This was another stinky offensive performances, just 4 H, 1 BB, 3SB, 1 HBP and 2 opposing errors. Lucky offense and great pitching won the game but could also lose them. Is it time to put Bautista on the D.L. and call someone (not Gose) up, or is he getting better fast? I don't see how this Team wins any games verses NYY, this offense is almost non-existent.
It's interesting to juxtapose the Jays and White Sox health histories, especially the past few years. Check out this FG story from late 2012.

I expect that attendance will eclipse 120,000 this weekend, in a 32-45-45 kind of fashion.
