The affiliates went 2-3 on the last Saturday of the regular season.

Las Vegas 9    Colorado Springs 10

The 51s may be playing out the string but the offense isn't letting up. The team pounded out 18 hits and nearly tied things up with a three-run ninth. Mike McDade hit his second AAA homer as part of a 2-for-6, 4 RBI day. Anthony Gose and Yan Gomes each had two hits while Tuffy Gosewich hit a three-run homer in the top of the ninth to bring the 51s to within a run.

Sean O'Sullivan didn't have his best stuff on Saturday going seven but allowing six runs (four earned) on nine hits and three walks against five strikeouts. Of the ten runs the 51s surrendered, only four were earned.

New Hampshire 3    New Britain 7

Mark Sobolewski hit his 18th homer of the year and was the only Fisher Cat to pick up multiple hits. Jake Marisnick was 0-for-3 with an RBI while Ryan Goins went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Roberto Hernandez started and went six allowing four runs on eight hits with two walks and four strikeouts. Sam Dyson pitched a scoreless frame walking one and striking out one.

Dunedin 3    Clearwater 1

Every D-Jay had a hit except for Jon Berti, who had two. Kevin Ahrens doubled while Kenny Wilson had an RBI and stole his 13th Hi-A base.

Wacky things happen as teams play out the string and one such instance was Frank Gailey getting the start and striking out 12 over six frames allowing just a run on four hits. Jason Frasor struck out two in a perfect inning of rehab.

Lake County 3    Lansing 2 (13 innings)

Dalton Pompey and Aaron Munoz each had two hits while Shane Optiz doubled and KC Hobson drove in his 84th run.

Justin Nicolino started and went five allowing two runs on six hits with a walk and five strikeouts.

Vancouver 4    Yakima 1 (11 innings)

Santiago Nessy had his best day at the plate since his promotion, going 1-for-3 with a double, two walks, and two runs scored. D.J. Davis went 2-for-5 with two strikeouts.

Daniel Norris bounced back fairly nicely from his disastrous Northwest League debut. Norris went 4.1 innings allowing a run on five hits. He walked two and struck out three.
