Three wins in eight tries for the affiliates were highlighted by a couple of big nights.

Though I haven't followed his career all that closely, I feel comfortable saying that Ricardo Nanita enjoyed a career night on Saturday. The 31 year-old career minor-leaguer went 4-for-5 with 3 home runs, a double, and 4 RBI. Jonathan Diaz also homered while Chris Woodward and Tuffy Gosewisch each had three hits.
Shawn Hill started and went 5.1 innings allowing three runs on eight hits while walking one and striking out three.
Altoona 3 New Hampshire 8
Sean Ochinko enjoyed a big night of his own on Saturday going 4-for-4 with two homers, three RBI, and four runs scored. John Tolisano had just one hit but it went for his 11th homer while Jake Marisnick was 0-for-5 with three strikeouts.
Yohan Pino started for the Fisher Cats and picked up the win going five and allowing two runs on five hits without walking a batter and striking out five. Four reliever, including Joel Carreno with a scoreless 8th, finished things off for the win.
Dunedin 5 Lakeland 6 (13 innings)
The D-Jays let a 5-0 lead slip away including a two run ninth inning advantage, before losing in 13 innings. Jon Talley had three hits while Oliver Dominguez homered. Kevin Pillar was 2-for-5 with a walk, and two stolen bases.
Marcus Walden started and pitched well going six innings and allowing a run on two hits and a walk while striking out three. Randy Boone blew the save but did strike out four in three innings.
Lansing 2 Lake County 3
The Lugnuts managed just six hits on Saturday with two coming off the bat of Gustavo Pierre. Kevin Patterson had the team's only extra base hit, a double.
Anthony DeSclafani started and went four innings allowing two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four. Casey Beck took the loss allowing an unearned run in the 8th.

Not much doing for the Canadians on Saturday. The offense managed just five hits. Jason Leblebijian had two while Dwight Smith Jr. doubled and walked.
Ben White took the loss going five innings and allowing two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three.
Bluefield 7 Danville 10
Christian Lopes enjoyed a big night going 2-for-5 with a triple and four RBI. Seth Conner was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI while D.J. Davis and Matthew Dean each had two hits and scored two runs apiece. Davis also stole his second base.
Alberto Tirado started but went just one inning allowing two runs on a hit, two walks, and two wild pitches. Shane Davis went the next five and allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and three walks while striking out five.
