Eric Thames and Moises Sierra each had two hits including a double while Danny Perales added his 5th homer.
Shawn Hill started and pitched very well going seven shutout frames and allowing just a walk and five hits against five strikeouts. Newly acquired David Carpenter struck out one and walked one in his inning of work.

Osuna's blemishes included a runner reaching on an error in the first, a third inning flyout, a fourth inning walk and single, and a fifth inning popout. Everyone else struck out. Yup, 13 in all. In five innings. 13 K's. Five innings. Once more: 13 in 5.
Marcus Stroman pitched the sixth and seventh and allowed a hit while striking out two. From there the bullpen fell apart and turned a 5-1 lead into a 7-6 loss. But who cares. 13 K's!
