It was a great day for the affiliates. One team won it all, another advanced to the championship series, and another took a 1-0 lead in the divisional series. There were no losers in Jaysville on Sunday.

Great to see a Jay team win it all and another take the lead in the final.

Weird that our CF of today (Rasmus) and of tomorrow (Gose) were 0-8 from the leadoff and #2 slots in the order yet the team won anyways.

Slight correction, Lansing isn't in the championship round yet.  If they win tonight or tomorrow, they will be.  They have a 1-0 lead in the divisional championship as of right now.

I'm sure there's a simple answer to this, but why did the Fisher Cats need to use Pino? I thought McGuire was recovered from his injury. And are they using a 4-man or 5-man rotation in the playoffs?

If all three of those team win thier championship, that has got to be a shear sign of how good the minor league system for the Jays is.

Pino has been real good his last dozen starts.  While they presumably could have gone to Deck, why pressure him to be back at his best when someone who had earned the right to start in his absence was in a better situation to succeed.

Apparently Aaron Sanchez will be starting for Lansing tonight. This would be his MWL debut, no?

This was Sanchez's mwl debut and he was a bit shaky but kept it under control. Lansing leading 6-4 in seventh currently.

Lansing up 7-6 going into the 9th.  Webb in for the save and he surrendered a run on 3 hits.  Let's see if they can get it back in the bottom of the inning.  How often do you see a catcher get 2 triples in a game like C.Perez has in this one?

The Lugnuts won the game, and the series, on the always exciting bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth.

On to the finals.
