Pitchers are out first for their stretch.
Then the pitchers need to make sure their arms are ready to throw with some stretching exercises. I believe the pitchers shown are Evan Crawford, Casey Beck, Scott Gracey, Ryan Shopshire and Ryan Tepera.
The pitchers pair up and throw to each other. Here is Dustin Antolin warming up.
The hitters warm up in a less regimented manner, some stretching, some swinging the bat.
Getting kids and families into the park is the big challenge in minor league ball. Lansing's mascot is Big Lug and it was his birthday on Sunday. FYI, mascots always have birthdays during the season. It also was kids under 12 eat free day.
Big Lug had a couple of special guests to help him celebrate his birthday. Dora and Miguel dropped by. Here is Dora.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the game was going on and Lugnuts manager Sal Fasano had a few calls to dispute.
Lansing looked to be in trouble until London, Ontario's, Brad McElroy got them going with a solo home run. Brad Glenn congratulates McElroy.
The Lugnuts pulled it out in the tenth inning with a walk-off hit from Eric Eiland. That's him in the middle.
And if you go on a Friday or Saturday night you can cap off the game with some fireworks.
